Marketing Manager for local media company offering print, digital and experiential marketing opportunities through the following publications and annual events:

  • Publications:

    • Chapel Hill Magazine, Durham Magazine, Chatham Magazine, Visitor & Relocation Guides (Durham and Orange-Chatham editions), Taste Magazine, and, recently acquired, Heart of NC Weddings

  • Annual events:

    • Taste the Event, Sip+Savor, WellFest, and Women of Achievement luncheon​

  • Created marketing collateral and a more cohesive brand standard for parent company, Shannon Media Inc.

  • Worked directly with VP of Planning of Development and supported sales team to achieve goals through outbound marketing strategies including print, digital and email marketing

  • Oversaw email database management and growth

  • Responsible for leading the transition of email marketing from Constant Contact to newly acquired Second Street platform

  • Became proficient in interactive content and online contests/ballots through Second Street platform

  • Managed and maintained existing and new WordPress websites created by an outside contractor

  • Worked closely with Event Supervisor on annual events to achieve ticket sales goals, as well as, managed marketing needs of event sponsors and on-site marketing pieces like programs and signage

  • Created materials and brand presence for community events which Shannon Media Inc was a sponsor
